A study on a hybrid SERS substrates based on arrayed gold nanoparticle/graphene/copper cone cavities fabricated by a conical tip indentation

The pesticide residues with low concentration are important to detect in food safety. Although a lot of methods, such as spectrophotometry, colorimetry and liquid chromatography, used residues, they often suffer from efficiency long detection time. Here, hybrid Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) substrate, namely, Au nanoparticle/copper-based graphene/arrayed cone cavities ([email protected]@Cu cavities), is fabricated for through sputtering nanoparticle generating periodical cavity structures on the copper-based graphene surface. By actively controlling interspace between adjacent cavities, both surface topographies number layers SERS substrate could be modulated, creating an effective control functional performance substrate. Both sensitivity reliability were evaluated by Spectroscopy detection. experimental results indicated that 10−9 mol/L malachite green 10−7 paraquat detected, respectively. Moreover, detected intensity only dropped 11.89% month 29.8% two months, hotspot distribution was also characterized 2-dimensional mapping. research finding expected provide new insight development innovative substrates.
